Tzalam and Jabin wood are mixed together with the wood of the numerous palm trees and tropical plants that naturally “decorate” the space. Brass details light up the jungle but the design molds itself with the surrounding nature thanks to the use of fabrics and materials with natural colors and textures.For the main bar, Marsica applied to the front desk a Colombian handcrafted carpet especially made for the project. Patterns from the Mayan culture have been used to decorate the service stations or hand inlaid by local artisans on the wooden details. Customized Macramè suspension lamps are an other celebration to the local culture. All the customized furniture is handmade by Mexican workers. The magical cenote close to the tables is a creation of Mother Nature.
